Holiday Drink Recipe Ideas
Sweet Tea with Vodka and Lemonade: A perfect summertime cocktail. This recipe serves eight.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large tea bags for iced tea
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 8 fresh mint sprigs
  • 4 cups lemonade made from frozen concentrate
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • Ice cubes
  • 8 lemon slices
Place tea bags in medium bowl. Add 1/2 cup boiling water. Let steep 4 minutes. Discard tea bags. Place mint sprigs in large pitcher; mash with  handle of wooden spoon until slightly bruised. Pour in tea, lemonade, and vodka. Good News: This recipe can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and chill. Fill 8 highball glasses with ice. Divide sweet tea among glasses. Garnish with lemon slices.

4 egg yolks
1 (5 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 1/2 cups milk
4 egg whites
1 fluid ounce rum
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, beat egg yolks until they are thickened and light. Gradually stir in condensed milk, sugar, vanilla and milk. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then add them to the milk mixture. Stir rum into the mixture (to taste). Garnish with nutmeg.

Candy-Cane-Tini:

1 oz. Vodka
1 oz club soda
1 piece (Mini candy cane) Candy

Directions:
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into glass. Place a candy cane in the glass. It will turn the drink pink and adds to the flavor.

4 cups cranberry juice cocktail
8 cups prepared lemonade
2 cups orange juice
1 (4 ounce) jar maraschino cherries
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale
1 orange, sliced in rounds
Directions:
In a large punch bowl, combine cranberry juice cocktail, lemonade, and orange juice. Stir in the maraschino cherries. Refrigerate for 2 hours or more. When ready to serve, pour in the ginger ale. Garnish each glass with an orange slice.
