Sand Art Brownies Gift in a Jar:
This is a recipe for brownies to give as a Christmas gift....or whenever. Mix ingredients in a wide mouth quart size jar, just like sand art!
Add to wide mouth quart jar in this order:
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 + 1/8 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup Choc. Chips
1/2 cup Vanilla Chips
1/2 cup nuts
This should pack nicely into jar.
Include a decorative tag with instructions below for making the brownies:
Combine contents of jar with:
1tsp vanilla
2/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
Pour into a greased 9x9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 27-32 minutes


Car Nut Frame:
Is your dad hooked on cars? Are you a mechanic in training? If you love cars, trucks, or anything with a motor, then this frame is a great gift for your father.

Supplies:
Small wooden frame
Black acrylic paint
Washers and bolts
Permanent adhesive glue (recommended: GemTac jewel glue)
Photograph of you

Directions:
Remove glass from frame.
Paint frame black and let dry.
Use permanent adhesive glue to decorate outside of frame with nuts and washers. Let dry completely.
Insert a family photo and the glass into the frame.



Father's Day Paperweight:
Is your Dad cool enough to have this paperweight?  

Supplies:
3" rock
Acrylic paint and Brush
Foamie letters and music notes
Directions:
Paint a rock. Let dry. Stick on the letter to spell out "DAD YOU ROCK". Add some music foamies or decorate with anything that represents your father's taste!
